A Colourful, Laid-Back Wedding at Milton End Barn, Gloucestershire

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing this vibrant and fun wedding at Milton End Barn, a stunning venue on a working farm in the Gloucestershire countryside. It’s the perfect setting for couples who want a relaxed, fun atmosphere with plenty of time to truly enjoy their wedding. Unlike most other venues, Milton End offers a few days’ stay, allowing plenty of time for celebration and reducing the stress of the day. It is also a dog friendly venue with lots of space for fun photo walks with the dogs.

This luxury barn is surrounded by beautiful backdrops that make for incredible wedding photography — from rustic courtyards and countryside views to animal pens with piglets and a glamping field with bell tents. Every corner of the venue offers something unique and photogenic, just a short walk away.

The day began with a heartfelt ceremony in the barn. Colorful confetti followed, along with drinks and canapés. An amazing wedding breakfast and emotional speeches came next. As night fell, the courtyard transformed into a lively party space, complete with a wood-fired pizza car and live music from the Tux Fizz wedding band — the dancefloor stayed packed until the early hours!
