I love this rainbow family! The photos were taken at a local park in Stroud, Gloucestershire.
If you go down to the woods today you’re sure of a big surprise… This could certainly be said about some people we met in the woods while setting up this photo shoot. A lady, who looked very intrigued, said that she didn’t know what we were doing but it looked “very exciting”. And it sure was! This is the second photo shoots that I did in collaboration with Cally from Cally’s cakes http://www.callyscakes.com/ who kindly provided lots of gorgeous and delicious cakes. A couple of portraits of a cute baby girl I photographed recently
I met this gorgeous couple with a baby girl at a parenting fair in Stroud organised by Stroud Sling Meet and Library http://stroudslingmeet.wordpress.com/ I loved Laura’s colourful outfit and their cute daughter grinning happily from her bright blue sling. It was a pleasure to meet some new babies and their parents and taking a few portraits, below are just a few of them.
This fun photo shoot is a collaboration with Cally from Cally’s cakes http://www.callyscakes.com/ who kindly provided lots of gorgeous and delicious cakes. I am not sure who had more fun – me setting up and shooting, or our little models who went on a cupcake hunt that ended with a cupcake feast. I was so excited about Cally’s beautiful cakes I manages to squeeze two photo sessions out of them in two different locations. This is one of them.
Leto & Ariadne is the studio label of Nick Ozanne, a talented handweaver based in the Cotswolds. Nick’s exquisite silk scarves and home textiles have won him multiple awards. I really enjoyed visiting Nick’s studio and watching him make fabrics on a traditional loom. I love the way these fabrics drape and feel against the skin, and their unique colours and patterns. http://www.letoariadne.com/Index.html
I love photographing babies and children, especially when they are as good as this little beauty. We only met a couple of minutes before the shoot but straight away she was relaxed and natural, and happy to model my new fairy accessories – like a proper little model! Below are a few of my favourite portraits from this photo session.

A few shots from a recent food photography commission for Plenty Pastry. These pies are delicious, with a choice of interesting meat, game and vegetarian fillings. I have tried many of them, and the biggest surprise was probably their Glasgow pie – for a veggie pie it was very tasty and satisfying! You can find Plenty pies in some delicatessen, restaurants, and markets including our local Stroud Farmer’s Market in Gloucestershire http://www.fresh-n-local.co.uk/markets/stroud.php.
A few of my favourite photos from Emma’s family photo shoot at Prinknash Bird and Deer park in Gloucestershire http://www.thebirdpark.co.uk/ It was a fun session full of activities from deer feeding to blowing bubbles, and I was very impressed how good the children were considering the family came all the way from Staffordshire for this photo session! I really enjoyed meeting this lovely family.
