Here are some of my favourite photos from a recent child photo shoot. I was lucky that my little model totally ignored me and started playing with the squirrel puppet that I gave her straight away. She quickly found little furry catkins to “feed” her new friend and was completely lost in her imaginary world. It helped me to get the shots that I wanted – natural, fun and very cute. Never mind lots of running around trying to catch up with her – it was all worth it in the end 🙂
Today I would like to share my last photo session of 2013 with two beautiful families and best friends near Stroud, Gloucestershire. They wanted me to capture some moments together before one of the families emigrated abroad at the beginning of 2014. It was mid December and I was concerned what the weather might be, but luckily we had a nice day and I just love the autumn colours and how happy and relaxed my families were. Here are some of my favourite photos of the session.

I would like to share some of my favourite photos from a pregnancy photo shoot I did back in January with Jen and James. Jen is very creative and runs a blog full of lovey creative ideas, and although we only live about 10 minutes drive from each other, this is how she found me – through my blog in cyberspace! She brought a few cute baby items to use as photo props. I would like to thank James for being so patient with us while Jen and I we were cooing over these adorable items and photographing them 🙂 I am pleased to say that these booties now have a new owner – baby Seb, who I cannot wait to meet for a newborn shoot soon!

It’s a baby! A Gloucestershire couple revealing their pregnancy and whether they are having a girl or a boy. This was one fun photo shoot and I am looking forward to sharing some more photos soon. Cupcakes with coloured icing to reveal the sex of the baby are from Cally’s cakes.
Please Sir, can I have some more…tea? I admired this copper kettle every time I drove through Nailsworth, Gloucestershire, and finally last weekend I stopped for a few silly photos. This post coincides with Nailsworth being named as one of the 101 top places to live in Britain by The Sunday Times. The last two photos were taken at Egypt Mill, a lovely hotel and restaurant in Nailsworth.

Lisa and Matt celebrated their big day at Eastington park wedding venue in Gloucestershire. It was a great choice for a winter wedding as it had both beautiful grounds and plenty of space inside. As it happened the weather was promising earlier in the day but it soon turned wet and cold, and unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to use beautiful gardens for more than just a couple of photos. But this couple didn’t let rain dampen their spirits and it was a fantastic day full of happiness and laughter. Here are the highlights of their day.
Here are some of my favourite photos from a family session I did last November. I love it when my clients choose locations that mean a lot to them, and what a gorgeous place it is!
This portrait photo session was a collaboration with Gemma of Sanguinello, who creates stunning vintage wedding hair accessories from her studio in the Cotswolds. Every piece is handmade and unique, and I just loved photographing them and our beautiful model Uta. Some of the hair accessories in these photos are currently available from Cox and Baloney vintage boutique in Bristol.
Gemma’s other stockists are Qetty Bang Bang , Made in Stroud and As Long As it Sparkles , she also takes commissions. Gemma’s forthcoming events are Bristol Vintage Wedding Fair on the 16th of match 2014 and Lou Lou’s Vintage Fair at Cheltenham Town Hall on Sunday 30th March, and I am very pleased to provide these photos for her stall!
