I’m delighted to share this stunning summer wedding at The Old Lodge Hotel and Restaurant, located on Minchinhampton Common near Stroud in the heart of the Cotswolds. Dating back to the 16th century, The Old Lodge is a charming Cotswold stone building, thought to have once served as a hunting lodge. The couple exchanged their vows in a romantic outdoor ceremony, surrounded by the beauty of the garden. The celebration continued with a delicious wedding breakfast in the elegantly decorated restaurant, offering stunning views of Minchinhampton Common. Evening entertainment featured a magician who left everyone in awe with his incredible tricks. It was a relaxed and joyful celebration of love in one of Gloucestershire’s most atmospheric countryside venues.

I’m delighted to share the highlights of this stunning twilight wedding at Great Tythe Barn in Tetbury, Gloucestershire, located in the heart of the Cotswolds. The weather could not have been more perfect, offering a soft golden hour and a magical twilight atmosphere that set the stage for some truly breathtaking moments. One of the most memorable touches was the bride’s choice of a bespoke wedding cape instead of a traditional veil. It was an absolutely stunning piece that added a fairy-tale-like feel to her look, perfectly complementing the romantic and dreamy vibe of this wedding. After a delicious wedding breakfast by Birch Catering, the couple amazed their guests with a beautifully choreographed first dance. It was truly an unforgettable moment.

Throughout the entire day, my goal was to remain attentive, yet unobtrusive, in order to capture those priceless, intimate moments as they unfolded naturally. For the bride and groom portraits, I made sure to create a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, ensuring they felt at ease throughout the process. It was incredibly important to me that their experience was fun and enjoyable, allowing their personalities to shine through in the photos.
This stunning venue provided the perfect backdrop, and I couldn’t have been more excited to work there again. It was an absolute pleasure to be a part of such a wonderful celebration!
