Vintage girl photo shoot – Gloucestershire family children and wedding photography

I think these relaxed and natural photos of a girl and her pet dog are rather sweet. They were having a lot of fun playing together and I really enjoyed photographing them. I edited the photos to give them a vintage feel to complement the setting and vintage props and dress.

Natural children photography – outdoor spring photo shoot Gloucestershire & Cotswolds

Here are some of my favourite photos from a recent child photo shoot. I was lucky that my little model totally ignored me and started playing with the squirrel puppet that I gave her straight away. She quickly found little furry catkins to “feed” her new friend and was completely lost in her  imaginary world. It helped me to get the shots that I wanted – natural, fun and very … Read More Natural children photography – outdoor spring photo shoot Gloucestershire & Cotswolds

Nailsworth – Gloucestershire family and wedding photography

Please Sir, can I have some more…tea? I admired this copper kettle every time I drove through Nailsworth, Gloucestershire, and finally last weekend I stopped for a few silly photos. This post coincides with Nailsworth being named as one of the 101 top places to live in Britain by The Sunday Times. The last two photos were taken at Egypt Mill, a lovely hotel and restaurant in … Read More Nailsworth – Gloucestershire family and wedding photography

Children photography – vintage style shoot – Gloucestershire portrait and wedding photographer

I like browns and could not resist doing a little photo shoot with this cute vintage style outfit. The real parcel wrapped in brown paper  arrived just before the shoot and was perfect to use as a prop-)

Autumn photo shoot – Gloucestershire family and children photographer

I have been really busy this autumn with family and children photo sessions. As well as photography I have been working with other photographers on creating costumes for their themed photo sessions. With my background in fashion design I love designing costumes and I was very excited when I received a sketch for this dress. I was really looking forward to making it, and had some unusual … Read More Autumn photo shoot – Gloucestershire family and children photographer

Children’s photo shoot at Westonbirt Arboretum – Gloucestershire family photographer

I was happy to return to Westonbirt Arboretum in Gloucestershire to capture two beautiful children in a riot of autumn colour. It rained shortly after we arrived and I was worried that our photo session would be ruined but sun came out and reflected in water droplets on the leaves to make it even more beautiful than before.

Sweet dreams – Gloucestershire creative children and family photography

My daughter was pleased with her new traditional cotton nightie and wanted to model it for a mini photo shoot. She pretended to be a tooth fairy who was very tired after her long night at work:-)

Fairies and toadstools – Gloucestershire family and portrait photography

I was back again this week to one of my favourite local spots to photograph this gorgeous girl. Toadstools and props were borrowed from my friend’s  house full of cute little things. Another post is coming soon with photos from a photo session we did in my friend’s little “fairy tale” garden.
