Too breathtaking not to share, last weekend I took the UNESCO World Heritage Bernina Express train from Tirano, Italy to St Moritz in Switzerland. The line crosses the Alps and masters 1,824 meters in altitude in just 22 km offering spectacular views, numerous viaducts and tunnels. The coach trip back to Milan took us via the Maloja pass in The Swiss Alps, not for the faint-hearted! I actually cycled on that road back in 2001, it was amazing.
