Natural wedding photographer Cotswolds| A Spring Wedding at Matara centre Tetbury

It was a pleasure to photograph this stunning spring wedding at Matara near Tetbury in the Cotswolds! Set within 28 acres of woodland, lakes, and flower meadows, Matara truly is a photographer’s dream. It offers a wealth of backdrops—from koi ponds in the cloistered courtyard to blossoming orchards, bridges, and labyrinths—perfect for capturing a wide variety of beautiful and memorable images.

With its dramatic light, unique architecture, and connection to nature, the venue provides endless opportunities for creative photography. The couple held their outdoor ceremony in the cloistered courtyard, followed by a drinks reception in the welcome courtyard and a wedding breakfast in the Hilarium. In the evening, the Hilarium was transformed into a ballroom where guests enjoyed ceilidh dancing in this stunning space.

The couple wanted their day captured in a relaxed, informal, and storytelling style, which perfectly suited the vibe of the Matara Centre. It was a joy to document all the laughter, emotions, and natural, candid moments throughout the day.
